Medline Introduces New Sustainable Packaging for Sterillium Comfort Gel Waterless Hand Sanitizer

Thursday, January 05, 2012

Medline Industries, Inc., in partnership with BODE Chemie, today announced the introduction of a new sustainable package for Sterillium® Comfort Gel, one of the world’s leading waterless hand sanitizers. The new package was designed with 25 percent less plastic. The new design features a lighter, thinner bottle which reduces the amount of raw materials required in production and results in significant energy savings — enough to heat approximately 60 homes a year.

Sterillium Comfort Gel in the new sustainable 475 ml package is now available to hospitals, post-acute care facilities, homecare providers and other healthcare related entities throughout the United States.

About Sterillium® Comfort Gel

Used in leading healthcare facilities throughout the United States, Sterillium Comfort Gel is a scientifically tested alcohol-based antiseptic hand gel shown to increase skin hydration by 14 percent. Sterillium is manufactured exclusively for Medline by BODE Chemie for distribution throughout North America.
