Our Surgical Time Out Procedure (S.T.O.P.™) safety products are designed to alert the surgical team to perform a time-out verification.
The brightly colored S.T.O.P. Safety Flag prompts the surgical team to perform their time-out verification.
Before beginning a procedure, the flag is placed over the intended incision site (after the patient has been draped), on the mayo stand or over the instruments; it is also used to absorb excess prep solution prior to electrosurgery.
